Paul joined the Royal Air Force in 1983 as an Aerospace Systems Operator, working his way up to Warrant Officer and retired from the RAF in 2011.  He is an associate trainer and consultant for Target Training.

Throughout his career, Paul was actively involved in the delivery and management of training, which included training needs analysis and the design of new training courses. An instructor at both the Royal Air Force School of Fighter Control and the Royal Navy School of Maritime Operations, he has delivered training to a wide variety of target audiences ranging from RAF fighter pilots to Royal Navy Captains.

A highly experienced manager, Paul has managed in multi-national environments and finishing his RAF career as an Aerospace Systems Trade Warrant Officer. In this role, he was responsible for formulating an employment strategy and training policy for a Trade Group of some 700 personnel. Paul is also an A1 Assessor.

Passionate about training, Paul believes in creating a positive and enjoyable environment to provide the best possible learning experience for his candidates.

In his spare time, Paul is Chairman of the national, award-winning, Longhoughton Rangers Youth Football Club which provides football to 200 youngsters aged 5-17. A Level 2 FA football coach, Paul was instrumental in gaining funding and backing for a new £1.5m football and community venue in his home village of Longhoughton.

He also enjoys flying with friends in the UK and USA and is a keen aviation photographer.
