unconscious bias and training

I love the way we operate as human beings, the way we think and act.  Of course, our ‘Paradigm’ or way of thinking is a product of conditioning.  Sorry if this is the first time you have heard this but we have all been conditioned since our first breath.

Conditioning has affected our Paradigm since we were born, it controls our mannerisms and our thoughts and our feelings.  Most of the time we don’t even know we are doing it and like we don’t even think about breathing in and out, our way of thinking is exactly the same.

Training is designed to change the way we think.  Whether we are learning a new skill, a new behaviour or habit; we are being trained or conditioned to learn something new.  Eventually with repetition and positive reinforcement from others, particularly from someone with authority, behaviours are changed. Therefore, training is designed to condition you into a way of thinking.

Science shows that we use our brains 5% consciously and 95% sub-consciously and training is designed to enter the sub-conscious mind to help you do things without even thinking about doing it.  A great example of this is learning to drive, how much thinking was required when you were learning to drive.  Of course, many years later, how much thinking is required now when you get in a car; we do it without thinking.

Unfortunately, we can also have negative paradigms or a way of thinking.  These can be particularly destructive to people who have created habits believing they can’t do things or doubt they can have success in a particular field or area. If we really believe this then guess what will happen; you will experience the results and like you don’t even think about getting in a car knowing you can drive or indeed breathing in and out, you won't even think about the negative thoughts coming into reality.

How did we get these negative thoughts?  A paradigm or way of thinking was created by repetition and conditioning.  How do we change these thoughts?  Changing our paradigm by repetition and conditioning.  When used correctly training changes conditioning and changes our lives for the better.

I really believe, long as it meets the laws of physics, you can do anything with training.
