new management development launch

Published by Ralph Moody

A North East based training company is launching two established management development programmes as open and public courses. Target Training Associates made the announcement yesterday at their Newcastle Upon Tyne venue.

The Foundation Management Development Programme (FMDP) and Management Development Programme (MDP) are modular programmes aimed at developing individuals into inspirational and motivated leaders and managers. They have a key spine in the form of Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment, which is followed by a series of modular workshops that are designed to improve efficiency and effectiveness of team leaders, first line managers and middle management.

Areas covered on the workshops include essential management tools such as delegation skills, motivation and dealing with difficult people.  Ralph Moody, owner of Target Training, explained the reasoning behind the launch.  "We have run the programme numerous times in-house for organisations in both private and public sectors and we have received some brilliant results; my vision was always to offer it as a public event so we could offer to a wider audience." He added, "The course really focuses on real skills that managers need. This is not a tick box course, the MDP provides the delegate with the tools and techniques to become a really effective manager."

The programmes which are accredited with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) is launched in Newcastle-upon-Tyne from May.  See here for latest news and dates.
