target training hit the bullseye with highly accredited development programme

Published by Ralph Moody

Specialist management development training provider Target Training has received outstanding feedback from business that have benefitted from its Foundation Management Development Programme (FMDP).

Target Training, a member of energy sector business development organisation NOF Energy, created the FMDP specifically aimed at developing team leaders, supervisors and individuals who are performing, or have been nominated for, first line manager roles.

The programme has already been successfully delivered to oil & gas-related businesses and organisations including Haskel, Teesside University and NOF Energy.

The programme is highly effective and has been accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management. It introduces vital skills to participants such as effective leadership, delegation, and characteristics of effective managers among numerous others.

Businesses that have used Target’s FMDP reported an increase in awareness of how actions and statements can affect others around them as well as improved confidence and problem solving. The programme also enabled staff to deal with change more effectively and feedback shows employees are no longer fazed by the prospect of facing the unknown.

As well as the FMDP, Target offers a wide range of development programmes including Essential Skills Management and Master Training. It also creates bespoke training courses to meet the individual needs of organisations.

Ralph Moody, Target Training Associates Founder, said: “The Foundation Management Development Programme has proven to be very popular. Businesses are keen to send its staff on this specialist training programme as it gives the individuals the confidence and skill set they need to successfully lead a team of their own.

“The feedback we have received has been very satisfying. It proves that using specially designed programmes is great way to improve staff efficiency and effectiveness.

“This is what we pride ourselves on, being different to other training providers is very important and by focusing on the personal element of management and reinforcing or changing behaviours we have achieved this.”

Caroline Lofthouse, Business Development Manager at NOF Energy, said: “Developing the skills of a team can be very challenging, but equally rewarding, both for a business and individual employees.  Target has developed an effective programme to support businesses and to help them maximise the productivity and efficiency of their workforces.”
