"The course was the best that I have attended, and I took a lot from it. Ralph is a fantastic trainer and can get the best out of his delegates. It is clear that he is an expert in his field. The training course has been beneficial, and the feedback from training that I deliver in my role has improved dramatically since attending." Katie Beal, NewLaw Solicitors

"I can't believe what we have covered over the last couple of days. I think it was one of the most exciting, mind-blowing experiences I have had, and I feel like a different person. Ralph made sure I understood and that I had the skills to be a FANTASTIC TRAINER." Sandy Dodd, Tuxford Academy

This 2-day ILM accredited Train the Trainer programme is ideal for those individuals who are required to deliver training to internal staff or external clients and covers:

Fundamental principles of training - we look at the essential principles that effective trainers follow and look at the critical skills that trainers need to deliver training.  This includes an understanding of training structure and how to set effective training aims and objectives.

Facilitating skills - essential techniques are explained including how we communicate effectively and how to engage the group using advanced questioning skills. The use of visual aids and powerpoint is discussed to identify how these assets can complement a training session. Essential skills are described relevant to managing behaviour in a training session.

Systems approach to training - we review the key elements including training design and evaluation to ensure that training is effective, meets the need of the client and doesn't waste resources.

Assessed sessions - delegates get an opportunity to put what they have learnt into practice. This is assessed against the approved ILM assessment criteria. 1-2-1 mentoring support is offered throughout.

On the course, delegates are taught skills and given examples of their use.  Delegates are then given the opportunity to practise their skills in real-life training environments.

"The course handouts and workbook were excellent and will provide a useful tool for me to practice the techniques and thinking patterns discussed over the two days. The course is a mix of theory and practical exercises which will push you out of your comfort zone, but I would urge anyone, with any level of experience of delivering training, to do this course.  On my first day back to work after completing, I have arranged my first training session with my Team, and I look forward to more!” Jamie Fry, Nicki Souter Associates

No additional assignments, evidence requirements or portfolio building is required to complete the qualification.
