Ever thought about building your own “Bucket List” for dealing with your Adversity?
I recently did a set of workshops in Dealing with Adversity, a compelling reflective set of workshops. After exploring our life journeys and the Adversity, we have all had to deal with, I felt it would be a good idea that the group would benefit from creating their individual bucket lists!
Such great fun to build some positivity from the situations everyone felt safe to share. In life, we all encounter Adversity. It is interesting when you look back and reflect on how you personally had to deal with the hardships in your life and how they may have grown us. I think we sometimes forget that Adversity is a positive, although it may not feel like this at the time. We build strength from tricky situations, and the more Adversity we have to deal with in life, the stronger we become.
Adversity appears in so many areas: Physically, Mentally, Emotionally, Socially, Spiritually, and Financially. I would suggest

Ralph and Claire went to London at the weekend, to check our things were looking for the opening up of everything today, 17th May.
We have our HQ offices at Cheapside, and we wanted to check in there and see how things were going. It had been a year since we were there, and although the staff had been brilliant, especially Fatima Yamoun from BE Offices, who has ensured our mail has been forwarded on and kept us fully updated on everything going on.
However, we were concerned, especially for the local businesses in the area. Such as a local cake shop, which relies on companies such as ours to be there. This is the essential pipeline that needs to be there to keep these businesses viable.
When we arrived, we saw everyone getting prepared; companies were jet washing the buildings down. Cheapside, just down from St Pauls, is a very exclusive area centred in the City of London, surrounded by fantastic shops and full of businesses that need one thing, people and being empty for a whole year.

It is a fascinating experience reflecting on yourself and how you react in different situations with different people. What is even more fascinating is where it comes from.
Every one of us is unique, and exploration with our thoughts, feelings and behaviours is just the most incredible journey. I have had some amazing sessions with clients, and seriously the WOW factor has been incredibly rewarding.
The theory of Ego states Parent, Adult, and Child is such an incredible experience. Eric Berne combined intuition, ego states, behavioural cues (including body posture, tone of voice, movement) into a transactional analysis system.
Ego states are not real. They are metaphors that give a voice to different parts of our personality. A powerful discovery in coaching working through life scripts can seriously help relationships both professionally and personally. Organisations don't change, people do, and understanding people goes to another depth.
Those words when we were young, "It's rude to push",

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is essential if, as a coach, we want to develop. There are so many coaches and different coaching certificates that it can be challenging to decide where to go to receive quality executive coaching. But, most importantly, where do coaches go to develop further? I think it is essential to understand what a good supervisor can do for you as a coach. The main point of this blog is for coaches to recognise why they need supervision and for people who are seeking coaching to check to see if their coaches have supervision.
Supervision is so powerful; it can take the coach to a much deeper level. It can help coaches understand what is happening between themselves and their clients. The parallel processes that are everywhere can be missed between coach and client but a supervisor who sits away as the third eye can pick these areas up. Supervision can be a fascinating experience.
The depth of supervision cannot be under-estimated, and it can take the coach
