The workplace is changing fast, and organisations in 2026 need trainers who can do far more than deliver a slide deck. Employers want confident, credible trainers who can engage people, transfer skills, and improve performance quickly. This is why Train the Trainer courses are now one of the most in-demand development options for supervisors, managers, and technical experts.
Choosing the right course can transform someone from “good at their job” into someone who is great at developing others.
Summary
- Employers now need trainers who can teach practical skills, not just talk through theory.
- Communication, confidence, and engagement techniques are more important than ever.
- Accredited, structured Train the Trainer courses give internal trainers the credibility organisations expect.

Ralph and Claire went to London at the weekend, to check our things were looking for the opening up of everything today, 17th May.
We have our HQ offices at Cheapside, and we wanted to check in there and see how things were going. It had been a year since we were there, and although the staff had been brilliant, especially Fatima Yamoun from BE Offices, who has ensured our mail has been forwarded on and kept us fully updated on everything going on.
However, we were concerned, especially for the local businesses in the area. Such as a local cake shop, which relies on companies such as ours to be there. This is the essential pipeline that needs to be there to keep these businesses viable.
When we arrived, we saw everyone getting prepared; companies were jet washing the buildings down. Cheapside, just down from St Pauls, is a very exclusive area centred in the City of London, surrounded by fantastic shops and full of businesses that need one thing, people and being empty for a whole year.

It's the New Year, and it is a great time to make some tremendous changes in your life. Remember you can make changes at any time, you don't need the year to end to make one, it just works well with the new beginning that comes with the start of the year.
On the last blog, I mentioned the importance of making a decision first, and I shared two of my decisions. If you haven't seen this blog, you can read it here.
Next, we need to put it into action and what I find works is an action plan. Getting it down on paper gives it a form of commitment and I know when I have written anything down as an action plan, it always works.
Here is my action plan for my decision to have an Improved Healthy Lifestyle, including losing two stone in weight. Remember no judging; it's not your action plan, it's mine!
Ok, some key things regarding action planning:
1. Always title your goal and have an end target date.
2. In the detail area, be specific, not vague. Remember though it's for you so as you understanding

"This year has been a challenge for all of us, none of us expected COVID and when everything stopped we decided to do something about it.
Although our work has changed, whoever thought we would be doing remote training! We have been very busy over the last six months; using our background in training, coaching, management and personal growth to create over 60 guides and journals. We have loved the experience, and although it's required significant learning on our part, we have developed another business to complement our established training company Target Training.
