Are you stuck?
Stuck in life, that routine you do every day, those words "still here, Monday morning feeling" I often hear words like that in my clients. What about your personal life, stuck there, same house, same walks, same shops? Sometimes you must ask yourself "Why do I continue to do the same things when I would like to change them?"
I find it interesting that lots of people fall back into their habits and routines after they use words like, "I have had a great holiday or a great break". Then they fall back into their stuck lives? back to the same routine. Guess what, it does not have to be that way, being stuck is choice. Sometimes people don't realise they are stuck they just moan, others know they are stuck but choose not to do anything about it.
You can change your life if you choose to, break the routine and stuckness. Bring your holidays and great weekend breaks to work. Change the routine, even plan to change the routine, planning is better than doing nothing. Life is so short, and there are so many opportunities out there, but people fear them, fear doing something different. Furthermore, they don't know what they don't know. Life is exciting, it is about realising where you are personally and doing something about it.
When you look at yourself, I mean really look at yourself what do you notice? Where are you energised, where are you stuck, and what would you like to be different? Then when you write these thoughts down, you can start to see your patterns, where the stuckness lies. Then think about what little changes you can make, remember little changes lead to big moves, but the process needs to get going.
Stuck in the stuckness I always say, do something about it, energise your life and make everyday fun, every day there can be little changes. I am fortunate that I don't worry, I make decisions, then make another one if I am not happy. One thing I have is the habit to change something when I recognise I need to do something different. The change is incredibly rewarding, which is why I don't mind making changes. It is so important to recognise in your life where you are, do you want to make your house your last one before you leave this planet? Is this the last job you are going to have, are you happy and content? These are huge areas to change it's the little changes that improve these. Remember you don't know what you don't know, look for some change it is very powerful and incredibly rewarding. Coaching helps this process if you need guidance.
