When designing a training session, it is essential to have a structure for it to succeed.

This means having a clear aim and objectives that are linked to your learning outcomes.

A well-structured training session will keep participants engaged and ensure that learning objectives are met.

This is why we included structure as an essential module in our Train the Trainer Academy, part of our Target Trainings Learning Gateway.

We are releasing this module as a stand-alone course with an added live group coaching call very soon.

A well-structured training session is important for several reasons. First, the training is focused and aligned with business objectives.

Second, it allows trainers to utilise time effectively by having a clear plan for the session.

Third, it keeps participants engaged by providing a logical flow of information.

Finally, it helps ensure that learning objectives are met by gauging progress throughout the session.

There are several different types of structures that can be used for a training session.

The type of structure used should be based on the type of training being delivered and the needs of the participants. Some common types of structures include linear, modular, and blended learning.

Linear learning is delivered in a traditional classroom or remote setting where information is presented sequentially from trainer to trainee.

Modular learning is delivered in smaller chunks or modules that can be completed at the trainee’s own pace.

Blended learning is a mix of linear and modular learning whereby some content is delivered in a classroom setting while others are self-paced.

It is common these days for the term blended also mean a mix of remote and face-to-face training.

When designing a training session, it is essential to have a structure to ensure it is successful.

A well-structured training session will keep participants engaged and ensure that learning objectives are met.

I will soon release further details on the module and live group coaching session.
