Ensuring that NY resolutions work
It's the New Year, and it is a great time to make some tremendous changes in your life. Remember you can make changes at any time, you don't need the year to end to make one, it just works well with the new beginning that comes with the start of the year.
On the last blog, I mentioned the importance of making a decision first, and I shared two of my decisions. If you haven't seen this blog, you can read it here.
Next, we need to put it into action and what I find works is an action plan. Getting it down on paper gives it a form of commitment and I know when I have written anything down as an action plan, it always works.
Here is my action plan for my decision to have an Improved Healthy Lifestyle, including losing two stone in weight. Remember no judging; it's not your action plan, it's mine!
Ok, some key things regarding action planning:
1. Always title your goal and have an end target date.
2. In the detail area, be specific, not vague. Remember though it's for you so as you understanding it.
3. Always have target dates for individual detail targets - having a target date for each area is very motivational.
4. Writing reasons why is essential, you can be as personal as you want. These are your reasons why you are doing something, and it will motivate you when you need it.
Finally, make sure you put the action plan somewhere you can see it every day. Do not file it somewhere where it will never be seen again!
If anyone would like a blank action plan for you to complete email me at ralph.moody@targettrg.co.uk
On the next blog and the final one in this series, I will show you what we do to bring and attract things into our lives. It is incredibly powerful, and I look forward to sharing this with you.
I want to take this opportunity to wish you the very best for 2021 - last year was very challenging for everyone, but this year will be so fantastic.
